Accounting and Reporting Specialist (Parental Leave Cover)

Siemens Energy is a global leader in energy technology. Headquartered in Rosh HaAyin, we are looking for a talented and dedicated Accounting & Reporting Specialist to join our accounting team on a parental-leave cover contract.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the annual financial statement preparation process and liaise closely with external auditors
• Prepare annual tax returns and manage ongoing tax issues with external tax advisors
• Monitor and control monthly account reconciliations and balance-sheet items
• Track and approve revenue-recognition entries for complex, high-value projects in line with corporate policies and accounting standards
• Own the monthly financial closing process and monthly reporting to headquarters abroad, including management financial reports
• Manage fixed-asset accounting, including IFRS 16 leases
• Perform financial controlling in cooperation with multiple internal stakeholders
• Submit statutory reports to the Bank of Israel and the Central Bureau of Statistics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting – mandatory
• Internship or experience with Big-4 accounting firms – advantage
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience – advantage
• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems – advantage
• Full professional proficiency in English – mandatory
• Advanced Excel skills – mandatory
